I voted for you. And got both book recommendations for my teenage daughter, plus am looking into Puberry today. With these and Sexism and Sensibility, you’re making my exhausting searches for truly good growing up resources so. much.easier. Thank you!!

I voted for you! My girls are still younger than puberty age but I’m very aware of wanting to prepare them for the world in a way I wasn’t. Thanks for the resources!

My pleasure! And thank you so much for voting! Puberty comes quicker than you think (don't hate me!). FYI the Puberry app is for 8-18 year olds.

I voted and I hope you win!! Congrats on being nominated. I just finished Sexism & Sensibility last night and it is such an important book that I know I'll return to over and over again. I also read passages out loud to my husband but would love to gift him his own physical copy (especially since mine is on kindle). Thanks for all that you're doing for our daughters, Jo-Ann!

So many more Dads than I anticipated are reading S&S which gives me such hope for this world. Thanks again for reading and voting!! And btw, if you wanted to cut and paste this gorgeous little review on Amazon (and Goodreads if you're on there), I wouldn't stop you... :)

I just finished reading your book and thought it was amazing! My granddaughter was born this year and I am passing the book on to her parents with the hope they will heed your wise advice about empowering girls from an early age.

I wondered if you have any thoughts about why the horrific crimes revealed in the Pelicot trial in France are being ignored by American media. Most of what is reported is in European publications like the Guardian.

Thank you again for writing so powerfully about teaching girls about sexism!
