Thank you to KATY HO, Chelsey Sidler and many others for tuning into my live video with Kim Palmiotto, The Girl Within. This was our first live and had no idea if anyone would come so what a pleasant surprise!

We talked about what it really means to raise girls in today’s world, not just the obvious challenges, but the invisible ones.
The mental load mothers carry.
The messages girls absorb about their bodies, safety, relationships, and worth.
And the delicate balance of preparing our daughters for the realities of the world without letting fear define their lives.
One of my favorite moments was when we talked about our goal as parents and Dr. Finkelstein said this:
We don’t want our daughters to inherit only our warnings. We want them to inherit confidence, discernment, and joy.
If you’re raising a girl, or simply trying to make sense of the world she’s growing up in, I think you’ll find something meaningful in this conversation.
